This policy explains your right to cancel and how refunds work. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.
If you are a consumer: your 14-day right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to change your mind about an online purchase, without giving a reason. The period runs:
- for services and subscriptions, from the day after the contract is made;
- for goods, from the day after you receive them.
An important exception for digital content
If you buy downloadable software or other digital content, you lose the right to cancel once the download or streaming has begun, provided that you asked us to start straight away and acknowledged that you would lose that right. We ask you to confirm both at checkout. Until you do, and until the download begins, your right to cancel remains.
Services you have asked us to start early
If you ask us to begin a service during the cancellation period and then cancel, you must pay for what you have already received, in proportion to the whole contract.
How to cancel
Tell us clearly before the period ends — email hello@weblibi.com, write to us at the address on our contact page, or telephone us. You may use the model cancellation form in the 2013 Regulations, but you do not have to. Please include your order number so that we can find your purchase.
Refunds
- We refund within 14 days of accepting your cancellation, or, for goods, within 14 days of receiving them back.
- We refund to the same payment method you used, unless you agree otherwise. We do not charge a fee to issue a refund.
- For goods, we refund the standard delivery cost. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we refund only the standard cost.
- We may reduce a refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling goods more than was necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Returning goods
Send goods back without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling. You pay the cost of return unless the goods are faulty or not as described.
Subscriptions and renewals
You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and the service continues until then. We do not refund part-used billing periods except where the law requires it or where we have failed to supply the service.
If something is faulty or not as described
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in addition to anything in this policy. If digital content or a service is faulty, not as described or not carried out with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement, a repeat performance or a price reduction. Tell us and we will put it right.
If you are a business
The statutory cancellation rights above apply to consumers. Business purchases are governed by the contract between us; please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled a cancellation or refund, email hello@weblibi.com and we will respond. If we cannot resolve it between us, you may be able to take the matter to an alternative dispute resolution provider or to the courts.
